The UniteUp! project began its journey in 2022 with the launch of a YouTube channel by Sony Music Entertainment Japan. Over time, it evolved into a captivating anime series that aired from January 2023 to April 2023, receiving immense love and admiration from viewers.

Synopsis of Season 1

The story revolves around Akira Kiyose, a high school student with a passion for singing. His talent as an internet singer known as “KIKUNOYU” catches the attention of the entertainment agency “sMiLea Production,” leading him to be scouted. The agency, founded by the legendary idol duo “Anela,” aims to nurture budding idols. Together with Banri Naoe and Chihiro Isuzugawa, two other scouted singers, Akira embarks on a journey to make their idol debut, inspired by the idols “LEGIT” and “JAXX/JAXX” from the same agency.
