Minecraft 1.20.3 for Java Edition: All Major Inclusions and Changes

1 years ago By AI Smith

For all the wonderful Minecraft fans, we know how impatiently you have been waiting for the 1.21 update. But it looks like you have to wait more, until New Year, to get this new version of Minecraft.

Have you gotten sad? Fans?

In case you get sad, get happy because Minecraft 1.20.3 for Java is going to be released. And it’s going to be as soon as this coming December! It is extremely good news for Minecraft fans, especially those who use the Java OS. Yeah, it won’t be as grand a spectacle or thing as the 1.21 version, but one thing is for sure: it’s going to contain some of the upcoming version’s features, even if it’s a beta version.

So, all the fans can certainly loop up to it.

In addition to a raw new game engine, it’s going to contain lots of new features as well as experimental ones. So, here, in this article, we are going to discuss all the major inclusions and changes arriving in the 1.20.3 Java Edition.

1. The major feature that we know that this Java version contains is that players can use the /tick command with the following syntaxes:

• /tick query: for giving an output of the current tick rate in a Minecraft player’s chat console.

• /tick query: This command provides the tick rate as of right now in the chat window of a Minecraft player.

To set a precise ticking rate between 1 and 10,000, use the /tick rate command.

• /tick freeze: This stops all gameplay except for players and any mounted entities.

• /tick step: When the game is frozen, it continues to play for a certain amount of ticks before being frozen once more.

• /tick step stop: Restarts the game by stopping any tick stepping that was initiated by /tick step.

-To unfreeze the game, type or tick unfreeze.

• /tick sprint: This option launches the game while disregarding the players’ chosen ticking pace. The preceding ticks that the players described will continue after the sprint. This can be thought of as a ticking behaviour or “fast forward” feature.

2. The 1.21 Update Experimental Toggle

The 1.20.3 JAVA version is expected by the Pundits to feature experimental features of the 1.21 version.

The included experimental features are:

-Trial Spawner Block

-New tuff blocks, including staircases, slabs, walls, etc.

-introduction of the trial key item

-The breeze mob creature block is added.

-A trial cheer feature has been added.

3. Some general changes:

-The grass had been renamed short grass.

Decorative pots can now support a single stack of blocks or objects. But as they lack a graphical user interface, gamers putting stuff inside of them will need to smash the pot to get the items out.

• New sound effects for broken, shattered, and stepped-on decorated pots are also available. Decorative pots can now be piled up to 64 blocks high in a single inventory block.

• The jigsaw block menu now includes two new features: placement priority and selection priority.

• When looking inside, monster spawner bricks will now display their inner faces.

• After being shot and picked, arrows retain any unique names that have been attached to them, and special arrows no longer become regular arrows.

4. Also included are some massive bug fixes:

They have tried to clear and clean up all the bugs that the prior versions had. These bugs caused a lot of glitches in the gameplay.

After being fired and picked up, arrows will no longer lose their names or NBT tags.

When PvP is off, shooting an arrow into a Nether portal will no longer damage players in Minecraft.

Projectiles controlled by the player will not be forfeited upon leaving a Nether portal.

-Slime-spawning mobs will now produce slime even when they are not inside slime chunks.

Now, when players glance up, shields will block damage accordingly.

Even when spawned outside of their typical spawn places, drowned spawners will now spawn as drowned.

The spawner blocks’ rear faces will now display properly.

So, all Minecraft lovers and gamers, go grab this chance when this 1.20.3 JAVA version releases.
