But this is not just another “big” event because collaborating with the game is one of the music industry’s biggest rappers. That’s right, it’s Eminem! The is the perfect follow up after the immensely successful Chapter 4 Season OG will come to an end on 2nd December. The upcoming event will be the way Fortnite will usher in a sort of new beginning. The announcement has surely gotten Fortnite players excited and has helped many get over the blues of Season OG coming in.

In a way, it’s kind of like Fortnite saying, ‘Out with the old and in with the new!’ Now that players have had their filled of nostalgia, it’s time to get ready for one fantastic ride into the future. The Real Slim Shady crossover with Fortnite was something that players didn’t expect but are quite happy about. Eminem is all set to headline the battle royale arena in this epic crossover and we can’t wait to see what the next season has in store for Fortnite players. While all the details regarding the partnership have not been completely released yet, we will make sure to down every bit of information we have on it.

This is a great move for Fortnite as the game is currently experiencing high player traffic and Eminem’s involvement is sure to maintain that and even boost it further. At the start of November when Season OG came out, the game experienced a 44.7 million player surge, we’re hoping that the collaboration with Eminem also fares just as well. When will the Big Bang event start?

As we know Season OG will end on 2nd December, this means that the Big Bang will start on the same day, i.e., 2nd December 2023! But before the Big Bang starts, remember that Season OG will come to an end with the conclusion of Fortnite Season 9 and X. The ongoing season will conclude with a live event which can be viewed by four players at one time. So if you can, you need to get your friend group together and witness it because its going to be epic!

If you’re in the UK and the US, you’re lucky because timings for the release have already been revealed. The Fortnite Big Bang event for UK players will start sharp at 7 PM on Saturday (2nd December). You can log into the game around 30 minutes early at 6:30 through the Battle Royale tile. This is helpful because you will be able to make sure that all your teammates are there on time to witness it. The US players need to be prepared for the Big Bang event to start at 11 AM PT or 2 PM ET on Saturday.

Not much has been released officially regarding the event. All we know from Epic Games is that the event “marks a new beginning for Fortnite.” However, data miners have been hard at work and they have managed to uncover some details. Here’s what has been speculated so far. Also spoiler warning for those who want to keep it a surprise. There we warned you, now let’s begin!

  1. Biggest live event ever? – Leaks have indicated that the Big Bang event will have a 1.5 GB file size. If this is true, that means the Big Bang live event will be the biggest live event to date.
  2. Eminem, LEGO, and more! – One of the most reliable leakers for Fortnite is HYPEX. And in their post on X (Twitter), they revealed that Eminem, LEGO, Rhythm Mode, and Racing Mode will be included in the event. Which has been the biggest news so far. If you’re wondering what the Racing Mode is, then there are rumors that it could be related to another popular video game called Rocket League.
  3. Invincible Skins are Out? – Invincible skins like Omni-Man and Atom Eve have also been leaked and are expected to be added in the following season post the live event.

Eminem x Fortnite

Saving the juiciest topic for the last, let’s get down to discuss what exactly will Eminem do in the Big Bang Event. So far, it has only been officially announced that Eminem will be there for the event, but what role will he actually play? Now, that’s an answer that we do not have just yet. However, if we are going to go about it logically then we can expect there to be some kind of concert to be there. Don’t worry though, it won’t just be another music concert, Epic has planned a lot of other things. How do we know that? Well, a reliable Fortnite leaker called ShiinaBR posted on X (Twitter) stating that, “This live event is NOT just a concert.” The leaker further urged fans to stay excited and that it’s going to be one amazing ride.

It is believed that the crossover with Eminem will start a string of future collaborations with other top artists that will be involved in Fortnite Rhythm Mode. Lady Gaga, Imagine Dragons, Linkin Park, Toto, and more are speculated to be a part of Fortnite in the upcoming season.

Eminem Skins

Another thing that Epic Games confirmed was that there was going to be Eminem Skins! Yes! They confirmed it on 22nd November. The skins are Rap Boy, Slim Shady, and Marshall Never More that will come with matching accessories. All these will arrive to the Item Shop on 29th November at 7 PM ET (midnight for UK players). Don’t miss the drop of these new Icon Series skins and grab them as fast as you can!

Make sure you attend the Big Bang Event and you will be able to unlock the Marshall Magma Style for the Marshall Never More outfit regardless of if you purchase the skin before or after the event.
