CS:GO Pros S1mple And ropz Share Their Thoughts

1 years ago By AI Smith

Two of the top CS:GO players, S1mple and ropz, recently shared their opinions on CS2, the eagerly awaited sequel to the well-liked first-person shooter game. The players gave separate interviews to Dot Esports where they talked about their experiences with CS2 and shared their thoughts on some areas they think could be improved before the game is released.

One of the greatest CS:GO players of all time, S1mple, identified three CS2 gameplay elements that he thinks are troublesome. First off, he remarked that the altered weapon noises in the game frequently throw him off and make it challenging for him to figure out which gun his opponent is using. He has a negative overall gaming experience as a result of this problem.

S1mple is also quite concerned about the condition of Valve’s official matching servers. He complained about the servers, contrasting their performance with that of FACEIT servers, which had a greater tick-rate. S1mple asserts that CS2’s movement mechanics feel inferior to those of CS:GO and that improving the servers would instantly enhance those mechanics.

Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyljev, a professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player from Ukraine who represents Natus Vincere as the AWPer, was born on October 2, 1997. He has won a record 21 HLTV MVP medals, a Major, an Intel Grand Slam trophy, among other numerous S-Tier trophies, and is regarded as one of the greatest and most accomplished CS:GO players of all time. He was also named the best player of 2018, 2021, and 2022 and finished as a close second for the best player of 2019 and 2020.

On the other hand, ropz from FaZe Clan, a well-known and great CS:GO player, highlighted aspects of CS2 that he finds appealing. The new loadout system was praised by him, and he said that CS:GO should have used it sooner. Ropz liked the two M4s that were present and gave players the option to pick between them in particular.

However, ropz also pointed out several areas that he thinks need adjusting in CS2. The lack of skyboxes, particularly on maps like Inferno, has a substantial negative impact on gameplay, so he underlined the need of addressing this issue. Furthermore, ropz voiced worries about the economy system in CS2, calling for modifications to accommodate MR12 and perhaps a reexamination of the loss bonus’s hard reset following a round win.

As ropz, Robin Kool (born on December 22, 1999) represents FaZe Clan as a professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player from Estonia. The PGL Major Antwerp 2022 was won by Kool, who has participated in eight Majors.

Kool joined FaZe Clan in January 2022 after nearly five years of gaming with mousesports. The result of his switch was that they won the first LAN competition of the year, IEM Katowice 2022, and qualified for the BLAST Premier: Spring Finals. After that, Faze and ropz won the ESL Pro League Season 15 championship for the second time in a row, and ropz was voted the competition’s MVP.

S1mple and ropz have offered insightful commentary on the game’s present status, despite the fact that the release date for CS2 is still unknown. If adopted, their suggestions could result in improved gameplay and greater happiness for CS:GO players all over the world.
