1 years ago By AI Smith

It seems that  EA is still making structural changes within the company. Today we get the latest ones that have been produced, which include drastic modifications. The gaming and sports lovers already know that the company has recently reported layoffs, and now we have information about this restructuring. This is what has been confirmed so far:

The restructuring splits the company’s studios into two main organizations: EA Entertainment and EA Sports. According to CEO Andrew Wilson, this change will allow studio leaders to have more authority, including creative and financial responsibility.

The EA Entertainment section will be led by President Laura Miele, overseeing several of the company’s key Studios. Vince Zampella will be in charge of the studios working on Apex Legends, the Star Wars games, and the Battlefield intellectual property.

Samantha Ryan will oversee the lifestyle franchises and greatest hits singles. Jeff Karp will be responsible for the mobile division.

The Sports division will be led by Cam Weber, who will be in charge of the sports games portfolio. Other appointments include Stuart Canfield as Chief Financial Officer and David Tinson as Chief Experience Officer, focused on developing and expanding EA’s services. Both EA Entertainment and EA Sports will report to the company’s CEO, chief personnel officer, and legal officer.

Wilson said EA’s business remains strong and the company is excited to bring “more amazing games and experiences” to more people around the world in the future. We will have to be attentive to see how they develop after these changes.

As a result of these internal movements, EA Sports will continue to develop its deliveries despite the division with EA Games, the sports studio will remain in charge of titles such as the ‘F1’ series, ‘Super Mega Baseball’, ‘EA Sports FC ‘, and ‘NHL’ which will continue to be part of the studio and more games will come.

These were the remarks regarding these changes in his company: “We are building the future of interactive entertainment on the foundation of legendary franchises and innovative new experiences that can go beyond the imagination of viewers, which represents enormous opportunities for growth.”
