Shaman King’s Floral Continuation

The Flowers manga, initially introduced in April 2012 in Shueisha’s Jump X magazine, flourished for over two years before concluding in October 2014. Serving as a direct sequel to the beloved original Shaman King anime, which graced the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump from June 1998 to August 2004, both series are the brainchild of the talented Hiroyuki Takei.

A Glimpse into the Past and Present

The roots of the Shaman King franchise can be traced back to its first television anime adaptation in July 2001, a run that extended for 64 episodes, culminating in September 2002. Subsequently, a reimagining of the series debuted in April 2021 and continued its enthralling tale until April 2022, comprising a total of 52 episodes. This latter adaptation is available for global streaming on the Netflix platform.
